Kalra Orthodontics and ECMSI concluded their 2008 ACB season with a bang. ECMSI completed their perfect regular season as they welcomed back Austin to the team. ECMSI was lead by Bryce James going 3-4 with 3 RBI's and a home run. Also, Stone Bender, Kole Klasic, Tommy Drabison, Caleb Bucci and Brock Kimble all went 3-3 with 9 combined RBI's. Danny McCarthy, Brent Fairbanks and Tommy Leskovac (5RBI's) were all 2-3. Stone and Kole teamed up for a 6-3 double play. Kalra was lead by Jack Chepke going 3-3 and 2 RBI's. Also from Kalra, Colgan Knox, Brendan Rozic and Joey Zielinski all went 2-3. Congratulations to both teams on their successful seasons and good luck to both teams in the playoffs.

ECMSI and Dunkin Donuts squared off for the third time of the 08 season. ECMSI got the bats hot right out of the gate and never turned back. The ECMSI Vipers were lead by Stone Bender(2RBI's,HR), Bryce James and Brock Kimble all going 4-4. Danny McCarthy(2RBI's) and Kole Klasic also went 3-4. Tommy Drabison(4RBI's), Tommy Leskovac(2RBI's), Caleb Bucci(3RBI's) and Brent Fairbanks(RBI) all showed great plate poise as well. Great defense complimented the offensive attack. From Dunkin Donuts, Tyler Jaros, Josh Harker(RBI, HR) and Brandon Smith were all 2-2. Haiden Webb made a great catch at 3rd base and Josh Harker made an amazing backhand stop at short stop. Good job to both teams. |

Atway & Cochran and ECMSI finally got their first game of the season in with only a week left in the season. You have to love Ohio weather in the spring. Both teams showed great effort and determination but in the end it was ECMSI bringing home the win. Leading ECMSI at the plate were Bryce James, Stone Bender(3 RBI's) and Tommy Leskovac(4 RBI's) all going 4-4. Kole Klasic(3 RBI's) was 3-4. Tommy Drabison and Brent Fairbanks(RBI) were also 2-3. Leskovac earned the game ball with his best batting performance this season. Atway & Cochran was lead by Michael Johns(RBI), Ryan Gavalier and Justin Neff were all 2-2. Outstanding defensive playes were made by both teams as well. Good luck to both teams. |

Carter Plumbing and ECMSI both recorded 2 very strong innings (1-2 thru the first 2 innings) to start the game but eventually EMSI's bats got hot and Carter could not hold off the charge. ECMSI was lead offensively by Bryce James (3-4, Grand Slam, 4 RBI's), Dan McCarthy (3-3), Stone Bender (3-3 2 RBI's) and Kole Klassic (3-3, Home Run, 3 RBI's). Also, Tommy Drabison, Brock Kimble, Brent Fairbanks, Caleb Bucci and Robert Malizia all went 2-3 with a combined 5 RBI's. Great defensive plays by McCarthy, Bender, Malizia highlighted by the 3-6 double play of Klasic to James. Kole Klasic and Dan McCarthy both garnered game balls for their complete games. This was a much lower scoring game then the 25-10 score in their first encounter but ECMSI pulled this one out in the bottom of the 6th inning. This defensive game was highlighted by 3 shutout innings for each team! Stone Bender was a vacuum cleaner on defense and earned the game ball for his big glove performance. Not to be outdone by the defense, ECMSI's offensive was lead once again by Kole Klasic going 4-4 who had the game winning triple with two men on in the bottom of the sixth. Tommy Drabison was also 3-3 with Danny McCarthy going 3-4. Dunkin Donuts was lead by Vincent DiRenzo and Ethan Paonessa both going 4-4. Josh Harker, Robby Marek and Michael McNally were also 3-4. ECMSI played a shut out first inning then the bats came alive for both sides. 5 Star threatened at in the bottom of the 6th inning by adding 7 runs but came up just shy. From ECMSI, Bryce James, Stone Bender, Kole Klasic and Tommy Drabison all went 5-5 with Brock Kimble going 4-4. Austin Whitney and Brent Fairbanks were 4-5 with Danny McCarthy and Caleb Bucci getting on base 3 times as well. Showing they can play defense as well, Bryce James and Stone Bender both recorded unassisted double plays in the 4th and 5th innings respectively. Awesome heads up plays guys!! Bryce James earned the game ball for his outstanding defensive play and strong presence at the plate. From 5 Star Limo, Robby Russo went 4-4 with a home run with Trevor Rice and Noah Gay both going 3-3. Larenzo Russo, Andrew Pitko, Thomas Pitko, Ryan Dippolito and Michael Ferree all went 3-4 as well.
